Smart phone are one of the many devices that have been very beneficial to us. Smart phones enable us to communicate with our loved ones, families and friends, as well as giving us access to the World Wide Web and the Internet, and many other functionalities. With the help of the smart phone, tasks that are usually hard to do are now made easier.

But, smart phones often have a limited battery life. Smart phones, including the new smart phone, can only last for 10-16 hours. If used with other accessories, however, you can extend it to 14-20 hours, which is still not good. Using other accessories like the a case and a screen protector to protect your battery pack from being damaged can also help in increasing your battery output. But, this only does little as well. That is why it is important that you avail and use a battery charger. Also, you will need to choose which type of charger you should use. Listed below are the two most common types of smart phone chargers, listing their advantages and disadvantages.

Home chargers are very common, as it is usually included with your smart phone purchase. If your home charger breaks down, a cheap replacement can be found on your local electronics store. With home chargers, you can charge your smart phone anywhere as long as you can connect this charger to a compatible electrical outlet. This type of charger can quickly power up your smart phone or smart phone battery pack(s); it only takes 2-3 hours to fully charge a smart phone / smart phone battery pack. For a smart phone owner, this is very vital, as you would want your smart phone to be fully charged at all times so that you can use its many features.

The only disadvantage of home chargers is that they are not portable. You can only use home chargers at home, which is very impractical especially if you don't stay on the house often. So for people who are always on the go, home chargers are not the right type of charger for you. You should, instead, make use of portable chargers, like mobile car chargers.

If you are out for long periods of time, then car chargers are the right type of chargers for you. Car chargers can be used on cars and other vehicles with a socket made for cigarette lighters. By availing of these types of chargers, you can charge your smart phone, and your battery packs as well, anytime and anywhere. Just plug the car charger in the cigarette lighter socket and let it charge your phone. Car chargers come in different types, as different smart phone brands have their own unique phone sockets. With a car charger, you can charge your smart phone anytime and anywhere.

However, car chargers have their own disadvantages as well. Compared to home chargers, car chargers can take longer to fully charge a battery pack. Home charger can only take 2 hours to fully charge a smart phone. By using the car charger, you must wait around 3-5 hours to charge it fully. Not only that, it can be hard to find the right car charger for your smart phone, especially if your smart phone is a new smart phone model like this smart phone. These disadvantages, however, should not deter you from buying one, as owning one can be very convenient. If you are seeking more information regarding these devices you can look at the HTC One forum online. There is even the HTC One X forum, HTC One XL forum, HTC One S forum and the HTC One V forum that focus on a specific aspect.
